Matt Harvey

Founder, RefugeWise

After more than 20 years serving in the U.S. Army, including a career as a Counterintelligence Special Agent and Warrant Officer, Matt founded RefugeWise with a simple goal: help families feel safer and more confident with the technology in their homes.

His career focused on protecting people, information, and organizations from security threats. As a husband and father, he saw many of those same security principles becoming increasingly important at home—from protecting personal accounts and home Wi-Fi to helping parents navigate smartphones, gaming, social media, scams, and online threats targeting children.

RefugeWise brings that experience to families in a practical, approachable way. No scare tactics. No unnecessary tech jargon. Just straightforward guidance to help families make smarter decisions and better protect what matters most.
